Since she was a little girl, Signa always brought animals home and one day wanted to own a Rescue/Ranch or become a Vet to give back! Signa has an agriculture degree and worked at a Vet clinic for 5 years as well as working for Animal Services as an Animal Control Officer throughout her career.

2^nd Chance Ranch & Rescue came about by Signa starting a petting zoo for rescued animals and quickly realized there was a higher need and decided to create a rescue/non profit for the many Florida animals that needed care.

Signa bought land in Parrish, Florida and built 2^nd Chance Ranch & Rescue by herself to accommodate all the animals in need. Some enclosures have been donated but Signa had been paying all her own money out of pocket to make 2^nd Chance a reality.  All the animals (and we) at 2^nd Chance Ranch are so lucky to have her!  Come by on any given weekend to meet Signa and all of our animal friends!
